Sonitecture: Live-Performances in Architecture

Sonitecture is a series of acousmatic live performances in specific architectures, a dialogue of analog and electronic sound textures, and electronic impulses that resonate with the architecture and ambient acoustics of the venue. Following the ideas of architect‑theorist Le Corbusier, the sound, inspired by the building, augments the space as a site of multisensory experience, offering a transformed, expanded, and intensified perception of the venue.

Riek & Engelke: Accoustic-Electronic Sound Pictures

The project combines field recordings of sound artist Lasse-Marc Riek and the live-electronic approach of Matthias Engelke to an inspiring sound picture. Withn the performance the listener wanders from natural soundscapes into abstract sound worlds which are bound together by residual sounds of the tonal world.
